Lionel Koretzky was born and raised in Paris.
“…I discovered photography and animation at an early age and really enjoyed the magic of it, the making, but all I wanted to do was race cars. I did race in 1995-96, but eventually got into the craft of making images. I discovered the business, the culture, assisting others. I worked with still-life photographers between 1996 and 2001, building a strong graphic sense, working with a wide range of lighting technics. I moved to the US in 2002 assisting on fashion shoots, working with daylight, locations and international productions. I started on my own in NYC 10 years ago, shooting products and directing videos for luxury brands. It was only a matter of time for my photography to meet my passion for cars…”
Lionel acted as Associate Editor of Lollipop Magazine #3, covering the 2014 Formula 1 World Championship.
He published his first book, 1000 Cars of NYC at Damiani editions in 2017.
Lionel currently leaves in Paris with his family.
